Welcome. I am Dr Ramnik Mathur, a Private Paediatrician in West London providing expert care for babies, children and teenagers..
I graduated from the University of Rajasthan, India in 1996 and completed my MD in Paediatrics in 2000.
I came to the UK in 2002 and have worked at various prestigious hospitals like Great Ormond Street, St. Thomas’, St. George’s & St. Mary’s. I completed my CCT (Certificate of Completion of Training) in General Paediatrics in 2011 and am on the GMC’s specialist register for Paediatrics. I have also completed an MSc in Paediatric Allergy at the University of Southampton.
As a Paediatric Consultant at Chelsea & Westminster NHS Trust, based at West Middlesex Hospital, I hold weekly General Paediatric & Baby Clinics and I see children with multiple food and other allergies.

My son’s head circumference went from 50th>then rose up to the 98th percentile as he grew, as a healthcare professional myself that mainly works with children, I knew that this could potentially mean hydrocephalus although rare. Having this knowledge, I was at unrest and could not sleep, I was so worried thinking the longer I leave it, what if I’m keeping effective treatment away from him? I am well aware treatment is normally effective while young due to the brain’s plasticity, however, Dr. Mathur was there! He saw my son straight away and got him an urgent ultrasound which I am so grateful for, everything thankfully turned out normal! However, I wonder the state I would have been in if I had to wait months for an initial appointment. Therefore, he saved me and my son. I am very grateful to him. 🙏🏼

We have been seeing Dr Mathur since our baby was 2.5 months old and have always found him to be attentive, knowledgeable, and reassuring. He is culturally aware and considerate towards the needs of different families, and often goes beyond the consultation to provide timely advice on an ad-hoc basis. Most recently, he has guided us through starting the milk ladder for suspected CMPA. We feel confident in his care and greatly value his calm, thorough approach.

My son wasn’t feeling well. Inconsolable crying for more than a week. Took him to See doctor and within a day he was feeling and looking so much better. I would definitely recommend Dr Mathur. He knew immediately what was wrong with my son and prescribed the right medication and formula for him. My son is doing so much better and back to his normal happy self, all thanks to Dr Mathur🙏🏻

We are so glad we found Dr Mathur for our child’s care. He’s extremely attentive and has helped us with a range of different issues. I really appreciate his reassurance too, especially at times when it’s easy to overthink and over-worry as a new parent.

Have been taking both my sons for over 2 years to Dr. Ramnik for any check ups needed.
Great doctor and has always been able to identify the route cause of the issue and provide right treat.
Dr. Ramnik is always responsive, whether it is text message or email.
With kids, it is easy to get nervous when they are ill but having Dr. Ramnik available at end of a phone is always re-assuring.

What a fantastic doctor. Feel so fortunate to have found him for support with our baby. Have worked with him regarding a number of things, CMPA+reflux, viral infections etc. he is patient, prompt, reassuring and trustworthy. Thank you for taking such good care of us!
