Poor appetite due to Iron deficiency

Lots of children are very picky eaters. Very often it’s behavioral and due to poor feeding habits. Sometimes, it can be due to Iron deficiency, so it’s worth checking with your doctor about the Iron levels in your child. The treatment is simple with daily Iron Syrup. 

The classical presentation of Iron deficiency anaemia is, of course PICA, where children eat inedible things like mud/sand/plaster etc
