My family and I would like to say a heartfelt thank you to Dr Ram for the wonderful care and attention he gave our daughter. Our daughter had previously been diagnosed with asthma by our GP, and this diagnosis came as a great shock and worry to us. As parents, we were very concerned and decided to seek a paediatrician for a second opinion and a thorough re-examination. From the moment we met Dr Ramnik, we felt reassured. He was incredibly kind, patient and attentive. He took the time to listen carefully to our concerns, thoroughly examine our daughter, and explain everything to us. Most importantly, he gave us hope and reassurance at a time when we were extremely worried. Dr Ramnik, you are truly one in a million. Dr. Ramnik has been an absolute lifesaver for our family. Managing an infant who is constantly uncomfortable and waking up all night left us completely exhausted and anxious. Dr Mathur is a great doctor. He has a wonderful way with kids, my son was completely at ease with him. He even humoured him by “checking over” his class mascot stuffed tiger. Aside from his manner, he is extremely thorough when examining and assessing the patient. Everything a parent would want in a doctor.

I’ve now seen Dr Ramnik Mathur for the second time regarding my daughter and I honestly can’t recommend him enough. He knew straight away what the issue was and took the time to properly listen to us. He didn’t rush the appointment and explained everything clearly in a way that was easy for us to understand. What I really appreciated was that he sat down with us and went through a clear plan for our daughter. He also took the time to explain some things that we, as parents, could have been doing differently and gave us really helpful advice on what we should be doing going forward. He explained everything in such a kind and understanding way, without ever making us feel judged. He is very knowledgeable, easy to talk to and genuinely takes the time to help. It’s really reassuring to know that your child is in the hands of someone who listens and knows exactly what they’re doing. Dr. Ramnik Mathur looked after my son for over 6 hours with incredible care, patience, and professionalism. He carried out extensive tests, closely monitored his condition, and managed to bring down his very high fever of 41.5°C. What truly stood out was the genuine attention and dedication he showed throughout the entire process. We felt supported, reassured, and in very safe hands the whole time. Highly recommend!!! Dr Mathur is an exceptional paediatrician. He is warm, patient, and incredibly thorough, taking the time to really listen and put both our son and us at ease. His diagnosis and treatment were spot on—our son improved within a day or two. He ALWAYS follows up with aftercare phone calls and messages to ensure our son is getting better! It’s rare to find such a high level of care and genuine compassion. We’re so grateful and would highly recommend him.

My son’s head circumference went from 50th>then rose up to the 98th percentile as he grew, as a healthcare professional myself that mainly works with children, I knew that this could potentially mean hydrocephalus although rare. Having this knowledge, I was at unrest and could not sleep, I was so worried thinking the longer I leave it, what if I’m keeping effective treatment away from him? I am well aware treatment is normally effective while young due to the brain’s plasticity, however, Dr. Mathur was there! He saw my son straight away and got him an urgent ultrasound which I am so grateful for, everything thankfully turned out normal! However, I wonder the state I would have been in if I had to wait months for an initial appointment. Therefore, he saved me and my son. I am very grateful to him. 🙏🏼

We have been seeing Dr Mathur since our baby was 2.5 months old and have always found him to be attentive, knowledgeable, and reassuring. He is culturally aware and considerate towards the needs of different families, and often goes beyond the consultation to provide timely advice on an ad-hoc basis. Most recently, he has guided us through starting the milk ladder for suspected CMPA. We feel confident in his care and greatly value his calm, thorough approach.

My son wasn’t feeling well. Inconsolable crying for more than a week. Took him to See doctor and within a day he was feeling and looking so much better. I would definitely recommend Dr Mathur. He knew immediately what was wrong with my son and prescribed the right medication and formula for him. My son is doing so much better and back to his normal happy self, all thanks to Dr Mathur🙏🏻

Have been taking both my sons for over 2 years to Dr. Ramnik for any check ups needed. Great doctor and has always been able to identify the route cause of the issue and provide right treat. Dr. Ramnik is always responsive, whether it is text message or email. With kids, it is easy to get nervous when they are ill but having Dr. Ramnik available at end of a phone is always re-assuring. I met Dr R Mathur when my son Charlie Phillips was in Ealing Hospital Special Care Unit for six weeks, from mid-September to early November 2014. I cannot speak highly enough of Dr R Mathur and the care he provided whilst my son was under his supervision.

There were twice-weekly rounds where Dr R Mathur encouraged questions and always made us feel that we were part of every decision regarding our child’s care. It was an extremely stressful and worrying time for us as parents, but his calm and kind nature was incredibly reassuring.

I always knew that when I left my baby at night in the unit, he was receiving the very best care under Dr R Mathur. Even after my son left the unit, Dr Mathur continued to offer advice through regular follow-up clinics, where I could ask questions about my son’s recovery.

My son spent a total of three months in hospital, including his first six weeks after birth, so it was far from a normal journey. Today, my son Charlie Phillips is doing really well, and I truly believe that is thanks to Dr R Mathur and his team at Ealing Hospital.
